How to Stop Absorbing Everyone’s Energy (and Finally Feel Like Yourself Again as a Healer)
If you’ve ever walked out of a room feeling heavy, foggy, or like you somehow left a piece of yourself behind—this episode is for you. For intuitive healers, one of the biggest blocks to clarity, confidence, and connection is the blurring of boundaries: not knowing what’s yours and what isn’t. This episode explores how to stop absorbing the emotions, energy, and expectations of others—so you can live, lead, and love from your own anchored truth.

How to Stop Absorbing Everyone’s Energy (and Finally Feel Like Yourself Again as a Healer)
The Big Permission Slip to Step Into Yourself as a Healer
For sensitive, intuitive women on the healer’s path, there’s one question that haunts us: Is this mine… or is this theirs?
You feel it in the pit of your stomach after a session. You walk away from a group and can’t tell if the heaviness is yours. You’re foggy, full, and detached from your own center.
This is the cost of energetic merging. And it’s time to change that.
Why You Absorb So Much Energy
You were probably praised for it.
The chameleon friend. The empath who could sense the unspoken. The person who could enter any room and make herself small enough to fit.
But over time, that “gift” becomes a trap.
Energetically, it looks like this: instead of meeting others from the fullness of your own energy (your “blue”), you absorb theirs (yellow, brown, gray) and become it. You forget what your own color even looks like.
Energetic Merging vs. Connection
Many healers confuse merging with love, compassion, or effectiveness.
But merging isn’t connection. It’s collapse.
When you lose yourself to someone else’s field, you lose your creativity, your impact, and your power to transmute the space.
Real change happens when two energies meet and co-create—not when one dissolves.
The Hidden Cost of People-Pleasing Energetically
You think it’s helping. You think you’re “making peace.”
But staying in someone else’s energy field—especially when it’s born from a performance or survival strategy—means reinforcing the status quo.
True healing starts when you stay rooted in yourself. When you let the Earth hold what you’ve been gripping. When you trust that others can be held by something greater than just you.
How to Come Back to Yourself
The first step? Call your energy home.
Imagine your tendrils—spread across time, people, and past experiences—slowly returning to you.
Ask: “Who am I over-invested in?”
Then re-anchor. Feel the Earth. Let it hold what you’ve been carrying.
Discernment is a practice. It takes time. But as you build your capacity to stay in your own energy, everything changes: your relationships, your work, your ability to hold space without collapsing into it.
This is the work we do in Healer: Awakened. Not just becoming a certified healer, but learning how to be a sovereign one.
You stop absorbing—and start radiating.
